Shaw's Corner was the ountry home of playwright George Bernard Shaw for 44 years from 1906 until he passed away on 2 November 1950. The house remains largely as he left it, allowing you to wander from room to room. It is under the care of the National Trust and is open to the public.

The house is reputedly haunted by three ghosts, including George Bernard Shaw, his wife Charlotte, and Lawrence of Arabia (who was a regular visitor to Shaw). Phenomena include doors which were closed being found wide open; notes being played on the piano; the apparitions of GBS has been sighted.
